Riello Investimenti SGR, the management company of the private equity Fund Italian Strategy and majority shareholder of Fornaio del Casale, and ABC Company S.p.A. as minority shareholder, together with Aksìa, the management company of Aksìa Capital VI, today announce the signing of a binding agreement for the acquisition of 100% of Fornaio del Casale S.p.A. (“Fornaio” or the “Company”). The transaction will be completed upon receipt of all necessary regulatory approvals.

Il Fornaio del Casale S.p.A., established in 1969 and headquartered in Casale sul Sile (Treviso, Italy), is a company specialized in the production and commercialization of bakery products. Operating under its proprietary brands Gecchele and Antico Casale, Fornaio offers a broad portfolio divided into four main categories: cakes, pastry products, bakery items, and carnival specialties. The product range, with more than 450 SKUs, includes both traditional offerings such as cakes and donuts, as well as niche items and innovative products.
