Aksìa joins Private Equity industry’s first-ever ESG data convergence project along with other leading GPs and LPs globally.
We are proud to announce that Aksìa SGR is a committed member of the ESG Data Convergence Initiative (EDCI), an industry-led initiative which aims to streamline the private investment industry’s historically fragmented approach to collecting ESG data and to create a critical mass of meaningful, performance-based, comparable ESG data from private companies.
The EDCI – which includes 400+ GPs and LPs representing ~$28 trillion in assets under management – will allow Aksìa and its portfolio companies to benchmark their current position, streamline ESG data requests from stakeholders, and generate progress toward ESG improvements in line with the sustainability strategy.
Since 2020, Aksìa has been tracking ESG KPIs as part of its Responsible Investing Policy in line with the most widely used and internationally recognized standards for non-financial reporting, such as the GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards and the Principal Adverse Impacts Indicators contained in the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). This is a further step to improve our reporting systems and to make the decision-making process more effective and aligned with best practices, standards, and regulations.
